You might want to get a copy of that 1920 marriage cert. It should give details of their fathers to confirm we have the correct people. Also the address might help and there will be witnesses who may be family members.

Is it just Doris from birth onwards you want info on or do you want her family going back?

Can you tell us how she fits into your tree and if she ended up in Australia?

What else do you know about her? if she didnt live, she didnt marry, nor have children, and you dont know her parents names, nor does she appear to have siblings.( not born Hackney anyway)

We use 'UK' with no '/'. U/k or u/k usually denotes 'unknown' as Julie interpreted it. - I don't know why I read it as UK?

Anyway, we have all been looking for the marriage and it does not appear to exist.

How did you get back to Hannah?

Did her parents end up in Australia?

Hi thank's to all,sorry for any misunderstandings,and it look's like my Hannah J Segar died in the same year as she was born ie 1921,thank's for that info,I am still looking for a marriage of Hannah's parents. U/K in Australia stands for United Kingdom! it must still be the same over there?

I read the 'U/k' as meaning UK (United Kingdom) which gave me the impression that Philip was in another part of the world?

If this is the case, perhaps he is in another time zone and has gone off the boards for now?

Now I really am confused!

I have just received a pm saying that the birth was in fact 1921 and he has changed his post to reflect this. but I had just edited my message on here to add that I had also found a death for that Hannah in the same year she was born.

Is this the correct birth and death Philip?
