Looking for Elizabeth dau of Joseph and Agnes Hodgkinson. Agnes died when Elizabeth was abt 6 weeks old and she was reared by her GM but do not know if Maternal or Paternal.
She used to talk about Burton on Trent.
Unassisted immigration passage to Australia on SS Miltiades in 1913. Age 25y listed as domestic. Third class departing from Port of London.
She told no one she was migrating and no one knew where she was until months later.
There is a letter from her cousin Harold Upton dated Aug 1917 serving in the Army.
Elizabeth is listed 1914 electoral roll at Francis St Echuca.

If Elizabeth were 25 in 1913, she was born around 1888. There are plenty of possible births for her, but no obvious deaths for her Mother Agnes.

The death of Agnes in 1893 at age 41 gives a birth date for her of 1852, so could not be married in 1860.

No other obvious marriage of a Joseph Hodgkinson to an Agnes

I think this is her thanks. She emigrated in 1913 to Aus and listed on ships log as domestic.
I can't find her in 1901 census but think she is in 1891 census living with grandparents Johnathon and Dinah Hodgkinson in Hanbury Woodend Staffordshire age 4
I have no birth cert any ideas welcome

I think this may be her. I have no birth date or cert and can find her on 1911 cesus working as a domestic Age and story ? matches.
