wonder why they said they were married but all the children have her maiden name????

they got married 1914 after they had the children named already, but they also went on to have more children after they got married. i do know they was not married 1911 census

there didnt seem to be a reason not to marry in 1908 when they went through the banns as it said the were spinster and batchlor at the time....strange

The children were baptised and registered (the older ones in Hackney and the younger ones in Camden parish/Pancras registration district). I wondered if the "Junie" 1901 census entry was Jessie, but as said previously, the enumerator has written Annie. The above Jessie is Jessie Catherine, but Beatrice is Beatrice Anne at registration and Beatrice Annie at baptism.
