PM from Anthony:

"Thanks for your help
From the ancestry parish records I was able to find Baptisums for both girls on 3rd June 1901(parish) Holy Trinity Latimer Road (borough) Kensington and Chelsea(county) Middlesex Emily Eliza (birth )1897 Kensington and Eleanor Annie 1899 Kensington.
Many thanks for any information you can provide"

Anthony, as you can access baptisms, I would be inclined to look for those of the children living with Eliza in 1911. I have checked image and in fact Lily is just Andrews, not Marsh at all. Andrew might just be William's middle name. Lily's name just about clinches it I would say - but not as much as the fact that Eliza has the name Andrews crossed out and replaced by Marsh!! A lesson there to always check original.

Be interesting to see the childrens birth certificates...... I cannot see another marriage in the time scale they said they were married.

but I think you might have cracked it Jan.... well done.

A very wild guess and seems unlikely I know. I just wondered if she was living with Thomas before they married. The only point of similarity is her occupation - she was a "Dryer laundry" in 1901:
