Have found the following, which may or may not relate to your Isabella.
Bella Reyes marr 3rd quarter 1919 to Albert Webb, Kings Norton Worcestershire (now Birmingham)
Albert Webb died 1st quarter 1920 Kings Norton aged 24
Isabella Webb marr Robert Chittock 3rd quarter 1921 Rochford Essex
Doris A Chittock born 2nd quarter 1922 Rochford Essex mother´s maiden name Webb

Hi Yes it is 1889.
Yes that is the same Isabel she was only married to Albert for a short time my grandfather was a very jealous man so my grandmother lost all contact with her family. I have followed the Chittock side back quite a long way but have come to a dead stop on my grandmothers side.

Have you found Isabella on any of the England censuses.
Do you know when she came to England.
Have you found any other family members in England.
Do you have either of her marriage certificates which will give the name & occupation of her father.
To get back to your original thread, click on my threads on the left of the screen & it will be there.

She doesn't show up on 1911 census

To find further info about her, buy either marriage cert, as her father's name will be recorded (if known)

Flick - I couldn't find her on the l9ll census - unless the name has been mistranscribed. I tried searching on christian name only but no luck.

Hi all tahnks for your help.
I have gone over some more notes my mother had.
Isabel came to England by herself as a nanny not certain when, her sister Concha might of come later.

I have the wedding certificate when she married her first husband Albert Webb at Kings Norton 23.8.1919. S Wulstan Bournbrook.
She was 22 and gave her name as Bella and living at 50 hurbert Rd. Bournbrook with her Father John which seems a bit odd when all the notes i have and photos say his name was Bartolome born 1880 Gibraltar.

Bartholome (John) parents were Jose' married to Isabel Orteja.
Children.
Bartolome married Dolares Aries Children Isabel and Concha
Jose' b1881 married Fanescia Children Isabel b1900 and Jose' b1901
Anita b1885 married Antonio Romero b1883 Child Paulina b1904
Doloris b1883 married Antonio munz b1882 Children Paulina b1902, Andrea b1903 and Rosa b1905.

If she was born in 1889, how could her father be a man born in 1880?

BUT - if she was 22 in 1919, she was born in 1897

So the maths needs to be re-thought

Why would the daughter's birth show MMN Webb?

Isabella's maiden name was REYES.............

No sign of her on 1911 census

Yes Isabel was born 9.4.1898 married Robert Chittock 6.8.1921 Parsh Church Ashington.
Doloras (Doris) GRO birth 1922 registered Rockford not sure why it is shown Webb.

What - exactly - is the info about her father on the marriage cert to Chittock?

Isabella (Bella) Reyes was first married to Albert Webb 3rd quarter 1919 Kings Norton, Birmingham albeit briefly, which is why Doris Chittock´s reg gives mother´s maiden name as Webb.

But WEBB was NOT her maiden name..............that's the point I was making!

No, but as a widow, she would have married under her former husband´s name & probably thought she had to give that as her maiden name.

All the names you have are my uncles and Aunts.

I can chase the Chittock family back to 1782 but come to a stand still with Isabel no one seems to know to much about her or her family.
