I don't think you're being picky Maureen just helpful in looking at all aspects of the 'Freds' I got my info' from Ancestry 1841 census and the Fred there was the stonemason. He was then said as being born in Middlesex. |

Chris, I think this is the same family, I have correct information back to Frederick dob 1811 Hertfordshire. All his children and his wife Elizabeth are the same up to and including my grandfather George Louis dob 1893. |

Frederick William Mason, Seems he was working away when the census was done in 1841, I found him working at St James in Westminster. |

Thanks Mrs G... this is the correct family it is Fred William Mason, I think he was working away from home on the 1841 census, He has put he was born in Hertfordshire, but in later census he is down as born in Middlesex and even West Ham Essex.. |

On the 41 census Ric'd (mistranscribed Reid) and Fred'k were both born in Middlesex. |
