Edward Francis Weston was correct. Two things I"m working on at me moment is his wife Alice Wilkinson and his parents Michael and Ann.
The Wilkinson"s are a problem as it seems William Wilkinson (Alice Father) Married had children and died between the 1861 and the 1871 census so that looks like a dead end.
As far as Micheal goes he married Anne Bourke in Manchester in 1852 it would seem. I"m waiting for the MC for the fathers name but any help is as always very welcome

Jaime...Try checking 1861/71 for Catherine Wilkinson. (Barton St.1881)..that should bring up Wm snr....its the only family with a Wm.Thomas and Alice although there may be others. However I have no idea how old Alice was when she got married which may help...

Got the MC of Michael McCormick and Anne Bourke yesterday. Makes Anne born c. 1830 in Tipperary, Ireland to a Michael Bourke who is listed to be employed as a Gentleman's Servant.
Any suggestions on how to go further with the Bourkes?
