From the christening record of William Nichol(l)s at St Gregory, Sudbury, Suffolk, I know his parents to be Peter Nichols and Sarah Redgewell.
I cannot trace their marriage nor Sarah's death.
I believe (almost certain) that Peter was born in Sudbury in 1788 and I believe he moved to London where he and Sarah had another son Thomas in 1820 in Southwark.
It would help me greatly to find Sarah's death.
