Susan, it very clearly says Gilmore on the original image. I wonder if previous census reports were mis-transcribed?

Hmm will have to have a serious look, as I have only searched for Galimore/Gallimore, no wonder I have not found any marriages or Deaths!
Thank you

Susan not sure if you do this, but the 1911 free search is best. You can search using "names beginning with" for surname for example. This would have sorted out the problem with this name. Then you can look at transcripts for any results on 1911 site.

where can I find this site as did not know that there was a free 1911?

Susan

Susan Report 28 Jun 2010 00:14

I think it all depends on how the person doing the records thought how it spelt!!

You can't view transcripts for free but you can do initial searches. Just google 1911, go to site, but do not sign in. Do your search and see what turns up!

Just realised that there is a member of the family missing on the 1911 Census! Would somebody mind having a quick search for me please, I would appreciate that very much.
Missing person Mary Jane Galimore/Gilmore/Gallimore!! born 1893 Denbigh, was with the family in 1901, dare say she could have married or working away from home?

Thanking you in advance

Can't see her at the moment. Just keep this in mind, it might be her:

Births Dec 1894 (>99%)
Gilmore Mary Jane St. Asaph 11b 298

Deaths Sep 1910 (>99%)
GILMORE Mary J 15 St. Asaph 11b 193

Looking at original image 1911 it says they have had 6 children, 2 have died.
