Can any of you dear people access passenger lists on Ancestry? If so, would you do a look up for me. I only have basic membership. If no joy, I will put a thread on the boards.......fanks.

honestly....

Right. one William Myers Chippendale is listed as being a 'surgeon, college of New York'. Seeing as he was born in Yorkshire c1814 I guess he went over there on a big boat. He was back in Liverpool by 1851 and died c1859. If anyone could find him on his travels I would be extremely pleased. A rough estimate of travel would be 1830-1850??

I think that is a Twisty one Cyn as passenger lists that I looked at dont seem to go that far back?

But maybe I didnt look in the right place.

And I think that would be a ship?Not a boat?

It is possible that he may be the Wm. Chippendale who worked alongside a Dr. Albert Coffin (!) and was into herbal meds.
