Dea Report 14 Oct 2011 22:05

A bit like the 'bacon butty' I had at the hospital after my scan then Sylvs !!

I REALLY fancied one as I had to starve all morning but the restaurant was closed for some reason!! - I ended up in the coffee shop with the WRVS ladies serving and they had a 'bacon cob' in the chiller section which they could 'ping' in the microwave - I went for it !!!

The bacon, I have to say, was quite tasty but the bread roll it came in was 'typically microwaved 'chewy' bread !!

It gave me the strength to drive home though ! :-D :-D :-D

Night Sylvs.....have a good night's sleep <3

Morning Dea.....I know what you mean about microwaved bread. It can go most peculiar can't it? A bit like chewing Blu-tak.......... :-D (not that I do that I hasten to add).

A lovely breakfast to send me on my way - thanks Sylvs.

My friend rang in tears last night as she is not looking forward to today which is very understandable. She is dreading everyone 'fussing' over her too, so I have assured her that I will be there to give her a metaphorical 'kick' ...... she appreciated that! :-D

Ah well......had better go and make myself look presentable. No black. Her husband didn't like black and I rarely wear all black to funerals anyway. Brown I think - one of my fave colours.....I am a very autumnally colour type of person.

~~~~~~~ see you later........
Ohh Cynths - I do SO hope she manages to get through it O.K. !!!
I know that you will help her all you can but I really worry that it could 'set her back' and she is doing so very well !!
You really can't tell though, it may be something she needs to do and could well feel 'relieved' when it is over and more ready to face the future??
I just wish her well (and you) and will be thinking about you both today .
So that's done! All went well.....the sun shone on our small group as we listened to the calm and comforting words from the Vicar. My friend was, understandably upset but recovered well. I think this has brought some closure to past events and she will be glad that it is all over.
Now to Specsavers with my daughter..........deep joy.
So pleased she got through it O.K. Cynths!
It 'may' kick in over the next few days but, hopefully, she will get through it and move on!
Next step will be her move home!
Dea Xxx
P.S. - I had just got quite 'fond' of your recent avatar thingy and you have changed it again - I don't think I will become 'fond' of the latest one :-(
Oohh - I just strayed onto 'Success Board' - I never go on there but must have clicked the wrong clicker.
I saw the name of someone I had helped recently and there was a lovely happy message of thanks about me (and 2 others) - she called us 'lovely ladies' !!
Isn't that nice?
