They will be back soon.
His Mum understandably wants everything to be perfect so there has been a lot of stress.
She has made a birthday cake in the shape of a tardis.
It is huge.
The original plan was a cake requiring 36 eggs.
I persuaded her to compromise a bit.
There is only 9 of us.
It will be so nice just to relax with him as usually everything is such a rush and he is so tired from travelling.
If it goes well I hope we can do it again.

36 eggs LK - What sort of a cake was that meant to be ????

You certainly would not be able to fit it in a 'normal domestic oven' surely ?????

Anyway, even if you did, I am not sure a child of that age would enjoy it - Far too rich ??

Glad you managed to tone it down a bit ;-)

The easiest way to make a 'tardis' cake would be with a few normal 'swiss roll' sponges, glued together with jam and finished off with some icing ?? - you could even have a door which opened and loads of sweets and smarties etc. in there to 'spill out', making it look as if the inside were so much bigger than it seemed!??

Hello. Glad to see the GR problems have been sorted - and also my internet connection is now working!!! Yiphee!!

I wouldnt want sweets spilling out of the tardis door - I would be disappointed with anything less than David Tennant! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 [be still - my beating heart!!]

SylviaInCanada Report 23 Oct 2011 19:49

lovely sunny day here.

It is such a change to have sunny weather in October!

It's usually very wet here in October ........................ but November and December are even wetter.

I wonder whether you also exchanged identities for that brief moment?

Does that mean you have been left with a little bit of Cyn's DNA?

aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

:-D :-D :-D

Dea

Dea Report 23 Oct 2011 20:29

Ooooerrr!!!

I think you know a lot more about DNA than I do Sylvs !!!

I just know that I am very confused when my avatar changes :-S

Dea Xxx

P.S. - If I have to have someone's DNA, I think I would be quite happy with a bit of Cynth's!
