I am off to work.
OH is still feeling very uncomfortable after being pumped full of air,
I also think he is still trying to come to terms with things,
See Christine's Fred.
I am going to WDYTYA tomorrow so hope he is better for that.

Gee

Gee Report 25 Feb 2012 09:37

Have you noticed that the 'star' that GR use for thier name tag is the same star as the one that internet explorer has

You can see it on 'Favorites'

Thanks for your messages of support.
We will have to evaluate his position as sole trader and contracter asap just to be prepared.
Complicated as it will be our jobs and living all tied up together.WE cancelled the clinic today and most people were understanding.

I would love to meet up with everyone next year. We could invade the GR stand and show them how it should be done. ;-)

went for morning coffee, and then a quick trip to Ikea.

Bought 2 of the 3 items on the shopping list ......... and about5 others that were not!!

None were very expensive ("phew"), so we came away with a bill of only about £30 :-D :-D

Is it like Ikea here Sylvs - they apparently provide a brilliant breakfast for about £1.99 ???

LK

I hope your OH is feeling better, but ............................. did they not make sure that he had got rid of most of the air before he left the clinic??

They wouldn't let OH out from day surgery 2 weeks ago, because he hadn't f***ed enough ................. stuck a warmed blanket on his tum, turned him on his left side, and told him to go to it!

OH was basically out of action for only 2 weeks in 2005 ............... he could not drive for 4 weeks, and I don't drive, but he used transit and taxis.

Of course, his work is mainly sitting down .................... but it is important to walk.

I hope you get to go to WDYTYA tomorrow .................... we'll look out for your request :-D :-D :-D

Hi Dea

we're never there early enough for breakfast :-D , I've not looked at the menu

But they do serve fantastic lunch- and dinner-type meals, very tasty, and very cheap.

Otherwise ............... I think Ikea is the same all over the world!

The one we go to, is in the process of expanding. They're building a new building on the opposite side of the huge car park from the current one ........... it'll be 2 or 3 times the size.

I get lost in the "small" one :-(
