To make up for not being around lately I have left breakfast in the warmers.

Porridge

Cheese and onion tartlets

Scrambled eggs

Vegetarian sausages

Lots of crispy bacon

Fried bread

Mushrooms

Rolls or Toast

Fresh fruit salad and pastries

Tea and coffee

I missed that brekky :-(

I've been running on 5 miles to go before the fuel runs out (for days)

Today, I went to get diesel and this very loud announcement 'FUEL IMMEDIATELY'

I was right next to the garage!

Phew!

Don't like my car telling me what to do !!!!!

I will ignore it and think back to what my 'old'car would say to me !!! - as n 'PPhheww !!!

I managed to get out on Tuesday.

I got a new laptop now all I have to do is charge it up and work out how to use all the stuff on it ;-)

It was a good price so I decided to treat myself using my birthday money from my last big 0 ..

I have finished O's cardigan at last and am now knitting in blue :-)

Have got through the week !!

2 Sports days in the very hot sun - got a very red nose !!!

1 singing concert - 1 toy and book sale.

2 projects - 1 to make a grass head and the other on the life cycle of a flowering plant - both almost done !!!

Just got to finish off the projects - make the cakes for the summer fair and attend all events.

Aint life just grand ???

Dea,

The fruit pudding is a bit like our clootie dumpling only white its delicious fried

Just waiting on the girls arriving parents are going shopping for things they need to go on holiday

Bang goes my plans to play with my new toy !

We went out to O's nursery graduation at 10.45am it started at 11am.

We then went back to theirs for a coffee. the girls didn't want to stay with parents wanted to come with us.

So we took them to visit FIL

Just home from dropping them off. DIL has asked if we can keep them tomorrow dinner time for an hour (bet its longer) she thought we had them but its her Mums turn and she is going out so we will have them tomorrow

Wednesday is our turn and them we have them Thursday while DIL has her hair done.

I think I will sleep this week :-)

Tonight hubby an myself are off to the cinema its another movie preview (unreleased yet we are like film critics lol )

Hi all,

You do lead a very busy life Linds - what would they do without you !!!

My little grand-daughter is doing her school performance with her first 'speaking part' on Wednesday and Thursday !!

She is a 'slightly built' 10 year old.

I have to chuckle because she has been told that she needs a black t-shirt for one of her scenes - her mummy couldn't find one so asked me if I had one that she could use !!

I did find one -almost a perfect fit !!

What does that say for me who is down now to 6st 4lb, ???

I have the Odeon Premier club card (just a loyalty card where you get points rewards etc) they seem to pick people at random and invite them to the film previews.

Looks like we have been lucky as son has one and never had an invite :-)

Dea sounds like you need more of my chocolates ;-)

You are also busy with grandchildren.

The girls Nan had a minor emergency and asked if we could take them this afternoon

Of course we did these things happen to us all and she would do it for me

Then DIL's friend cancelled on her so we didn't have them tonight so balanced out I suppose

Gins I have just put out another washing its sunny here but rain forecast for tomorrow early

I am busy knitting for baby :-)

I'm tired out reading this!

I've had the roofer round today, fixed another down pipe to the gutter, pointed the front ridge tiles

Also had the bed people round, the new mattress we bought in March/April has sunk on both sides. No problem, they will replace it

Tomorrow, scaffolders arrive so the roof/ridge tiles can be fixed

Good job I have a lot of marking!

Ginns - it didn't take you and JB long to wear out that new mattress - I just hope the new one will last a little longer ;-) :-D :-D

Just been planning out how to make the clothes for grandson's grass head so we can finish the project off when he comes home from school.

We only planted it up with seed 6 days ago and already the grass is an inch tall ! :-0

I do have to admit that I have been nurturing him in the airing cupboard over night and giving him extra water. I put him out in the garden as soon as the sun shines and Grandson rushes straight out to spray him the minute he comes home from school.

Both projects are to be handed in next Wednesday and Grand-daughter completed hers yesterday and we should finish his today.

She is SO thrilled with hers and her Mummy said that it is the best one she has ever done.

Only her Performance to go to tomorrow night and then the School Fair on Friday (I have to bake cakes !) and then the Open evening next Thursday. I will be SO glad when school ends and I can have a little rest :-D

Had the girls today. Our Nurseries and schools finished today.

We took the girls to McDonalds to celebrate We have them again tomorrow while Mummy gets her hair done

On Friday we have Star to take to the vet to get her stitches out (did I mention she had another op last week? )

P and F just left they came for dinner and F was helping me connect my printer to my new laptop.

We tried for over an hour laptop finds the printer but wont connect to it :-|

I told her to leave it till the weekend as she has work tomorrow and an early start 8am !

She hates giving in ,,,
