David Marks re (hole in the wall pub)
or any family of David Marks born St Georges in the East son of Esther and Bernard Marks.
David apparently owned / rented the Hole in the wall pub in Southend on sea for many years. Bloomah was his sister, also his brother Elias was my Grandfather, until the latest census, I did not know anything about this David Marks. I have discoverd many family members previously many through this site. there are 3 hot tree matches with a David Marks for 3 names from mine but I cannot get a reply to a message

Yes they do, Elias was my Grandfather.
The David Marks I am looking for was the son of Esther and Bernard Marks born St Georges in the East/ whitechapel. and then went on to own the Hole in the wall pub in Southend. Bloomah was his sister. Until now nobody new about this David Marks it was thought that only the 2 siblings survived.

So is it Bernard 1903 that married a Esther and had David Marks?

Can you clarify please Linda. Are you looking for a David Marks Grandson of Elias and Laura and son of Bernard? Or are you looking for David brother of Bloomah and son of Elias and Laura?

Which 2 of Elias and Laura's children did you think were the only ones to survive please?

Elias and Laura in 1911 had 7 children 2 of which had died.
