Who would have thought that asking about 1901 census would lead to all this!
From what I understand just quickly reading through it is- Ellen Harvey married Frederick Skinner and when he died she remarried to George Henry Treadwell who was the widower of her niece Frances Bevis. Forgive me for being stupid but is William Harvey my gggrandfather?

William HARVEY born @ 1825 Essex married Emma Sorrell born @ 1835 in Essex
They married in Billercay Essex J/A/S 1855 4a 141.

Alice Sorrell her daughter born J/F/M 1854 in Billercay 4a 116 married Thomas Beavis/Bevis born 1850 Farringham Kent.
They had Frances louise Bevis who married George Henry Treadwell,he went on to marry Ellen Skinner nee HARVEY.

Talk about keeping it in the family!!!!!

Ellen Harvey married her half sisters daughter's widow!!

I still can't find a marriage between Ellen Skinner and George Henry Treadwell.

George henry treadwell married Frances Louise Bevis/Beavis in Strood kent 1895 she died in 1902.Her parents were Thomas and Alice Beavis.

Walter Burton Treadwell born 13/6/1906 in Wandsworth 1d 620 he died June 1995.
He was the son of Ellen and George Henry Treadwell.

He may have married O.N/D 1932 Wandsworth Lilian M Fuller to Walter B Treadwell. 1d 1139

1911 it says Ellen Treadwell married,when you view original it says she is a widow.

In 1916 Dorothy was at 15 Hartfield Place, Northfleet when she had her 1st daughter (she was unmarried, a domestic servant ) and she was still there in 1924 when she had my mum. So this is a possibility. .

This is quite interesting as my mum was born in 1924 to Dorothy who already had a daughter called Bridget Mary, but one of my mums middle names was Lily. My mum reckoned that she could remember her grandad coming to visit when she was in the childrens home in 1932. It is quite possible that Frederick died and Ellen remarried

I presumed the date of birth was 1893 from the information given which I thought was from a birth cert
