Find Ancestors

Edward Arthur is one of their children - they had another 4 that I could find - William Alfred, Thomas H, Elizabeth Sarah, & Alfred William.

Both William & Alfred are believed to have died early.

Still confused but have another possible lead - 1891 census shows another Dangerfield family living at same address - Thomas & Eleanor with 5 children (2 more born after 1891). Thomas is about same age as Edward and could be brothers? Thomas marriage cert shows Edward as father. Eleanor appears to have been witness at Edward & Rebecca marriage. Father shows as deceased on Edward marriage cert so if correct Edward senior would have died between 1878 & 1888.

I will now try to follow Thomas - wish me luck!

Or this birth Edward snr is a Fireman.

Don't know about this one - can not find in London Parish records on Ancestry - unsure whether their collection is complete?

Unsure if I previously mentioned - I did find birth of a Charles Edward in 1851 (24/4/1851) bapt 12/5/1852 at St John The Baptist, Shoreditch, London with parents of Edward & Mary.

Have poss parents in 1851 census - lodgers at Hoxton having both been born in Hants - again can't put them with Charles 10 years later!

Have tried all possible combos of Charles and Edward but can not tie any thing together.

This Edward married Anne Hawkes (seen marr cert).

This Sarah in Islington was married in different quarter either to Roberts or Fuller (freeBMD).

Assuming you have checked this marriage? Curiously there is a marriage in the same year for a sarah ann bullock but in islington, wonder if this is a transcribers error?

good question - I have Edward with Mary and 1 child (Edward) at 8 Providence Place, London, Middx with Mary being born in Norfolk. All ages on this census appear to tie in with subsequent dates but can't find marriage between Edward & Mary either. Was thinking that Mary & Sarah were one of same but original census doc clearly states Mary - confusing or what?

Where are they in 1881 Colin? I can't seem to find them.
