i am so thankful two every ones help that i have received and i have to tell you all that i have found lisa on freinds reunited ,i am so shocked as i have been searching for lisa for years , and we have both made contact with each other ,
it is with the help i have received on here that this has happened ,so a big thank u ,

there are 44 results for a Lisa Nixon in England on Friends reunited. this is a free service now so worth taking a look, as you have a possible husband for her now read through the little 'blurbs' about people and see if the hubby's name matches up?

Have PM's Lisa's birth found kindly by David. It makes the marriage I dound more likely as same middle initial. Her husband's name isn't too common so a search for him on Facebook or Friends Reunited might be worthwhile too.

Another approach would be to get her birth cert and see if there is an address. It is possible to do a street search on Friends reunited - well. you never know, someone might be registered and know something.

Well, the marriage I sent was in Hampshire. But I sent a Bartlett/Nixon marriage not realising Nixon was her adoptive name. You could always search for these people on the electoral register, and for Lisa Bartlett too as she might not have married.
If you go to "Records Office" you will find jean's thread called "WHO ARE YOU LOOKING FOR". She can do electoral register lookups.

i am led to believe she was adopted ,i will try to go down that road ,is hampshire were she was married in england ?

Was Lisa adopted or just fostered do you know? If adopted she might have registered on the national adoption register - people can do this if wanting to find relatives. You can register yourself in any case. There is a fee I believe.:

yes i have tryed this and still waiting for a reply from them ,but as so long ago it is if they still have records as they keep telling me that mine have been destroyed.

Miranda, just a thought. Lisa seems to have gone down the social services route. I would advise you to ask for their help also if you haven't already.

i have found out that she is on here looking for me under bartlett ,but i cant get in touch with her ,i think she could have changed her email address ?

Have you looked for Lisa on Friends Reunited and Facebook? I am wondering if Nixon is her married or adopted name - if the former I have found a possible marriage, let me know if you want it..
