The only way to know for sure who his parents are is his birth cert, although it looks as if he could be Martha's illegitimate son going by the 1861, but that's only my opinion.

Hi Christine your a star the info is great i'm pretty certain thats the right family because in later years clunford is where they all lived and died as you say must get cert.
I have been in touch with the vicar in clunford to find out if Daisy May has a grave there have a few more names to give him now

If you think that's the correct family, you really need that marriage in Rhayder 1907.

This looks like John in earlier years but the cert would give his father's name.
