	Is this Ethel's first marriage (perhaps she married a cousin or other relation)?:- Name: Ethel Kay Spouse: Tom Kay Date of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep 1919 Registration district: Hunslet Registration county (inferred): Yorkshire - West Riding Volume Number: 9b Page Number: 1364 You need to buy the certificate to get his age and father's name as there are quite a lot of Tom Kay records on the 1901 census. I can't find a death that would fit his probable age so you do need the marriage certificate for his age. What makes you think he took his own life? Have you checked with the library in Leeds to see if they have any back copies of newspapers from the time to see if his death was reported in the newspapers? Kath. x
