Western Australian Passenger lists 1852-1930, the following:

Annie M. Tye, age 21, General Servant, English, single, C of E arrived from London on the S.S. Echuca on 16/2/1892. This sounds like Hubert's mother.

I also found the following on the Electoral Rolls:

1903 William James Rance - carpenter, Burt St, North Perth
Annie - home duties; and

1909 William and Annie same details and address at North Perth and then nothing.

I haven't been able to locate a death for him.

It seems like they left N.S.W. and came back to Perth.
