It would seem Henry Pidd married Margaret/Marguerite Emma Gertrude Coman also in 1898 as well as Charles Frederick Glover-married 12/6/1898.
Did he die before her marriage to H Pidd ?
Birth cert for Margarella Emma Ivy Pidd 2/1/1905 states mothers name as Margarella Emma PIDD Late Glover formerly Coman.
According to M.E.I Pidd's marrige cert 29/1/1927 to William Burton her father H Pidd was deceased.
Is there a death notice to prove this ?
Coulds both Pidd & Glover have died at Sea both were connected to the Sea ?
Any more info to hand ?

On the 1911 Henry is a Fireman on the ships crew. So this is probably him travelling to Australia as a fireman in 1905 it could also be the reason he is so difficult to locate in the census records.
