hello, ive found an entry on FREEBMD for Thomas Hewitt, and i'm hoping that this could be my g.uncle, the son of Joshua and Ellen Hewitt, and I dont seem to be able to find any record of his parents, and im hoping someone somewhere would know where I could find out, before i go to all the the problem of sendding off for a certificate only to find out that he isnt the guy |

Ted, no-one on here can see anything other than the FreeBMD details. Usually, the certificate is the only answer. |

Ted, when you say "he's been missing off all the census returns after 1871" - do you mean that he's not with his parents? There are quite a few entries that could be him ,particularly as single boarders. |
