1852 George marries mary mills,they have daughter Charlotte Elizabeth Durrell 1852/3
1861 george is down as married but now dad is down as george a widow born 1798 same address as 1851 so therfore George is John 1798.

1861/71/81 etc Mary Durrell born @ 1831 Lyme regis Dorset is Mary Rather wife if William Rather born Doncaster @ 1819 died Portsea 1897.
With them is Charlotte Rather 1853

Found no marriage for Durrell/Rather.

A death for Mary Durrell born @ 1828? died Portsea 1897.

Charlotte married Richard Bunday had Ethel Annie Bunday 1891.

So it looks as though George married Mary 1853 split up and went to Jersey,remarried although still married to Mary number one.

I think the John at top of page is your George just like in 1861 John 1798 is down as George 1798 if you get my drift.
