Thank you so much for all this information, really appreciate your efforts.
One thing which intrigues me is the middle name given to their one son is "Ogilvie". That is also my uncle's middle name, his mother's maiden name. The plot thickens.
Wlliam Breton was god-father to my uncle,born 1902..

My reason for looking for information on William is that I have a photo which appears to be at least 100 years old of William Breton. I would like to pass the photo onto a relative of his if possible.
Don't like to dispose of it and know of no other place to which it could be sent, or perhaps it should go to the Maritime museum in Greenwich, where my grandfathers medals etc are housed.
