Maud Davies a bride Dec 28th 1903 Parish Church Merthyr Tydfil address 24 Clare street Merthyr. Her father is given as Thomas Davies Engineer.The witnesses are Annie and Polly Davies. Thank you.

Member Since: January 2008 Posts: 214 Send Message	Thank you very much Adeline and Cathy.I think between you you'vesolve a good part of the mystery.Frederick Hugh Davies was a witness at the marriage of my Great Aunt Annie Williams whenshe married John Williams.He was an electric car driver.They married in June 1901. Maud Davies married John Thomas Williams in December 1903.He was my Grandfather.Maud was his first wife.Her father is given as Thomas Davies Engineer.The witnesses are Polly and Annie Davies.I havent been able to find Thomas Polly or Annie.

I wonder if Mary E could be Polly as every time I put in Polly in the search it comes up with Mary? I have found George through all the Census and he's a Monument Sculptor. Member Since: January 2008 Posts: 214 Send Message	Thank you for looking Cathy.I can't see Mary E on there.I can see Maud Mary and I know our Maud Davies married John Thomas Williams.But the household does look similar.Unfortunately our Maud died in 1906.I'm really trying to find out if she and my Grandfather had any children.By 1911 he had married my Grandmother and had two children with her.
