Oh and 1 more thing;

Elizabeth is on the 1881 census, but then in 1891 she is noted as Lily.

London, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1921
about Bertie George Davey

Spouse Name: Mary Ann Ward
Spouse Age: 22
Record Type: Marriage
Marriage Date: 25 Dec 1909
Parish: St Mark, Victoria Park
County: London
Borough: Tower Hamlets
Father Name: Charles Davey >> Porter
Spouse Father Name: James Ward

Winesses; Emily Ward and George Knight.

This marriage is C J and Elizabeths other son. Bertie has not noted his father as deceased either.

Now there is an entry in the column to the side, Bertie just married under the name of George Davey and then in 1914 this was ammended and his birth certificate was used as proof, Bertie and Mary Ann were present at the time. This was possibly something to do with the War???
