MarionfromScotland and Potty

Thank you both. I would say that the Kilwinning one is my James as his half-sister (my granny) was born in Kilwinning and his parents were married in Kilwinning. The family later moved to Dalserf (Larkhall) and it was very likely that he was resident there when he enlisted.

Your help is much appreciated.

Potty

Potty Report 18 Jan 2011 14:22

Is he remembered on the Dreghorn war memorial? If so, it might give his regiment, which would cut down the number of possibles.
