You really should add her and all her siblings to your tree.

It's possible she went on to have another family. If a descendant is searching for her, they can't make a connection is she's not listed in your tree.

Could you advise me how I should go about looking if Lily emigrated, I have looked on the deaths from 1916-1921 and can not find anything either in the name of Williams or George is there any other place I could check?

Hi, I have now received my grandfathers second marriage certificate and it does state that he was a widower, he married Emmeline Walsh on July 16th 1921, therefore, Lily must have died between 1916 when she gave birth to Peggy and 1921 when Arthur married again, it states his address at the time of the marriage as 19 Talbot Street.

What happened to Peggy? Did she stay with Lily?

Where did the rest of the family move? I'm seeing some possible marriages in Lancashire.

Don't have a clue why she had Peggy in Chertsey maybe she had already left perhaps something to do with the war, or even something to do with the elusive doctor!!!!!!!!

Yeah Rose - very curious - found Beatrice but not sign of a birth for Margaret.

Births Mar 1912
Williams Beatrice L George Brighton 2b 383

No likely deaths for a Lily E Williams in 1926 - only one but the age is out by quite a bit.

Do you have your grandfather's second marriage certificate as it might state if he was a widower - as she may have died rather than married again?
