Thanks for that. I know that Frederick Durbin born 1872 was with his wife until she died in 1901. I can't seem to find any records after that. Alice who was born in 1897 was adopted by the Padfields but where do you start to look for that. Any help would be good. |

Just checked earlier posts and Alice was born before the couples marriage and therefore this looks like her birth If she kept her name there is also a possible marriage. Do you have more detials of who the Padmore's were? Any first names/ages? |

Sorry I don't know anymore about the Padfields. I believe they come form somerset. I don't know if Alice change her name or not. Sorry for not much info. I know 2 children was born before the couple got married Alice and Harold who died in 1899 when he swallow a penny. |
