I wonder if anybody can please help me with finding about the parents/siblings of the above james Jackson. I believe he married a Hannah Harwood born 1855 at Barnard Castle.

If it is just word of mouth then it could be completely wrong. There is no marriage for the two names on FreeBMD or on Findmypast.

James Jackson was the father of my great grandmother Kate Jackson who I believe was born in 1883 on 20th January in west Hartlepool but I am finding some difficulty going further back to her parents.
