Not sure if this is right to post on the end of this thread but I am looking for more help on the same family. We have confirmed that this person is the first born of the family and we are looking for any marriage and children for her. Her family Parents, siblings) were all in Islington until the late 1930's then they moved to Edmonton where ththe last child was born in 1939. I have checked Enfield Records office for the electoral roll and by 1939 when they moved, she was not living with them. The family did not seem to move far so I assumed she married in Islington or Edmonton area. All of the marriages I can find are in areas such as West Ham, Willesden, Hackney and Southwark so unsure if any of these are correct. Also, have not been able to trace any kind of death for her with maiden name or with any of the married name options. Is there a way to trace the death not knowing her married name if I know the 100% date of birth (I have the cert). It is 16th August 1911. |

Sorry I popped out. You should be able to check the Electoral roll at Islington Library. |

Thanks Pam. I will try the parent check, particularly as that Anthony is not on the website under Edmonton. How can you view the Electoral Rolls for that year? I am signed up to two websites but they seem to only let you view current info or the other one shows only the last 9 years? |

Ordering birth certificates will confirm parents. If you are ordering certificates ask for a parent check. It should work out slightly cheaper as you will only pay for the check not the certificate on the incorrect ones. |

Okay, so I have a list of 6 extra years but most of them have 2 options per year and can only be one correct (if any) so if I order Birth Certs for them the that should confirm me the actual parents? I am nt sure about the Albert, I just assumed it was a match so it could just as easily be a Doris instead - seems actually more likely as someone said they remembered a Dolly. |

Yes, that is the correct couple. I know they didnt have any living children at that time but just thought they might have had 1 or more who had already died. It seems she was actually only 16 when she got married (though the marriage cert says 18) so we wondered if she was already pregnant at that time :-) |

Yes, all the others were born in Islington except the last one we actually know of called Anthony Patrick B. 1939 who I believe was born in Edmonton. |
