hi am doing the family tree on hostler
andrew thomas hostler born rather valley 1948 his dad died when he was 7 so he knows very little of his late family we or trying to find out about his relatives any aunties uncle ect

he believes his dad had more than one sister but one sister was lock up in a instiution and one called frances

is dad name was thomas george hostler
i think he may have been born 1911 not sure cos he died young he married a kathleen jones (she had been married a few times after he died she remarried a edwards so i think her maidame name was jones) i have nothing else to go on i have found a hostler in london george richard hostler stepney east could any one please chek it for me to see if i am going the wright way thanks louise xx

parents marriage looks like Kathleen had been married to a Green before her marriage to Thomas. The mothers maiden on Andrews birth index is Jones. If you got this cert. it would give you more info

I saw this 1911 census i haven't found the birth index for him, but i think Louise needs the marriage cert to give her his fathers name hopefully

That 1911 census is confusing with its insertion of "Married" everywhere
It looks to me perfectly correct for Thomas George aged 8 months (fits with his death) and is with his parents, and sister Julia Jane.

some thhink else came to light because you posted about the war it never entered our head he had die in war we have one photo of a male in war uniform and a medel on the medal it had a geaorge richard name on it we thought it was given to him but now i beleive it was given to his wife i have now found the medal it was called the dead man penny i would like to thank you jansmith for posting that war death so much it never enterd our heads he die in the war ....
