I have the 1841 Census for George Green c1801 Crondale Hampshire m to Maria. They are living with their four sons Henry (15) George (10) Jane (5) Edmund or Edward) (1) at Crondall. |

'His' Mark in 1841 is a servant, not with parents. |

That is interesting, the bap he had on his tree is your second one George & Maria so it seems as if he is corect with that one. I wonder if there is another census in 1841 for a George & Maria with all these children |

Thank you for that, I thought that there was another family for a George & Maria, obviously there has to be another family somewhere with these children on it. Could you please see if there is anything for another Henry (James) Green with the above parents. |

Thanks for all of the census, they agree with what I have for Henry which is great. At least I have something right, It still seems though as if there are two Henry Greens which is complicated their parentage. |

I cannot find sign of any other Henry (James) Green in the censuses, if these are all yours. |

Thank you so much for trying, it looks as if I will have to persevere with my contact on Ancestry to see where he has got all of his information from. His does seem correct but somewhere there is a contradiction. |

Thank you Colin, I was going to check these out, obviously I was not thinking straight earlier on, forgot that they could have possibly died. Have to check out James birth now to see if he was connected to the family. There are two I am now looking for, George who was bap 1839 and Mark bap 1826 though he could have been working in 1841. George I am unsure of as I have a George born 1831 to George & Maria so how come there was another George born 1839??? |

Sorry I did not go over the page, you have found everything for me. With regard to the George I was looking for, my baptism was 27 Sep 1839. I think my contact must have got it wrong and meant to put down Edwin as there are only two days the diff, that solves my problem. Thank you for all of the rest, much appreciated. |

Thank you Colin, I really appreciate all of your help, between the two of you It seems to have come together. The children definitely belong to the same family and the deaths have proved it. The Edmund I had down was Edwin, names get confused in those days. |
