Just to point out Heather never said we need English records. She just said the UK.

There are 3 other people who have Lawrence in their trees. They have Muriel born 1901 in Bebbington Cheshire. They must have copied each other because the spelling should be Bebington.

I WAS trying to be tactful, since we do not know Heather's father's name...and he is living.

I was suggesting it as more likely a Lancs' connection than Newcastle...which I'd already looked at and discounted. MUST type faster!

In view of Heather's name, that isn't in doubt

Does that mean that she may have been born or lived elsewhere?

Could you clarify if Burrows was her married or maiden name.
