You're right Patchem. Well spotted! Trying to find her mother to see if I can find them in 1841 but no luck so far. |

So either Rachel Cariss is not actually a grand-daughter, or Rachel Hogg had a child before she married John. And that would fit in with the relatively late marriage. |
