I have just seen you already got the above - it was on the next page. Silly me.
so his age of 1 in 1851 and 21 1871 is in question. If ever a family set out to confuse .....
Of course I am still no further forward in finding the correct John Milnes 1848! Maybe if I had both sets of parents for him in 1851 I might get another clue?

At last I have determined that my John is

Milnes John 1848 Leeds Leeds, North Leeds

as the 1847 Armley birth is a Boiler Maker in Hunslet in 1881.

Can anybody see him in 1851 please
