Thanks Patchem i think that may be the right one, however i still can't link that birth year to Leonard. James and John Henry. Am i missing something obvious, it's Sunday and my brain has shut down! haha

Unfortunately there are lots of Reuben Wards around.
Also, if large gaps for children, they are not necessarily together in any census.

Are the witnesses on John and Florence's marriage certificate family members?

Patchem the marriage certificate isn't available at the moment, but we did find out that Leonard was in WW1 but John was not due to a disability he could not enlist....so i will check records in hope of new info, but friends mother did say Harrys wife was a Lucy Pitaway? so that may throw something up also, thanks.
