Find Ancestors

I am trying to find out who Lilian Maud Fletcher married and I believe she emigrated to the USA in the early 1900's. She was born in 1891 and her parents were Ernest Fletcher and Sarah Burgess. Sarah died in 1891. Any help would be welcome. Lily was born in Wolverhampton. Thanks Christine :-)

Ann - that baptism doesn't match parent's names and is years out on birth?

I misread that she was born in 1891, so deleted those entries.
However, there is no birth showing for Lilian born 1869, where did you get the information from?

Did you also change the birth date from 1891 to 1869 - or is it my glasses?

So I gave the correct 1911 census, and then deleted it.
Still cannot see a birth.

Hi - Thanks for the quick response. Sarah was born in 1869 (not 1891 as originally stated!) in Wolverhampton. She died in 1891. Lilian Maud Fletcher was born in 1891 so Sarah could have died during childbirth. In 1911 Lily according to the census lived at the Eye infirmary in Wolverhampton. I have heard she may have emigrated to the USA and would like to know where. Her father was Ernest Fletcher. Christine

We are trying to work out what is going on, which is why we are looking to find her in the censuses, and her actual birth etc etc..
You originally said she emigrated in the early 1900's, but she is still here in 1911, unmarried.
So, did she marry here, or after she left?
What evidence have you that she actually emigrated, or is it just a family story?
Have you got any evidence of a family in America?

Thanks folks. Ginny provided a marital name of Ryman which could be a possibility. My mother gave me a box with various docs and a birthday book; In this book there are 5 names of Ryman. I have no docs saying she emigrated to America; a relative gave me that information. It must have been after 1928 if Ginny's info is the correct Lily.

I have no evidence that she went to the USA other than the above.
