Many Thanks for the help/replies. I think Josephs birth will have to remain a mystery. Jeremiah and Sarah had at least 5 children who where all christened within 6 months of their birth at St Phillips Birmingham. Joesph was'nt one of them. On his marriage certs his Father is named as Jeremiah boatman and on a census when he has Jeremiahs, brn 1832,daughter staying with him she is down as neice. I already have a rellie putting down his uncle as his father on his marriage cert, I think I may have something along those lines here |
