morning everyone
well back from hols & birth cert was waiting for me paul ea broadbent parents were indeed ernest broadbent & now know for definate his mother was edna braodbent (nee watson ) so out of the 2 marriage,s that were fouind i think the one in west ham 1931 is the most likely one as i can,t seam to see any other likely ones & i know they had a 1st child in 1933 & last one in 1946 all born leeds so maybe they were married in west ham as edna may have come from there as i know ernest roots were all from leeds west yorkshire is there anyway i can see the marriage details on line for the 1931 marriage or do i have send for the cert ernest was a provisions salesman (greengrocer/shop keeper )
thank you in advance for any help & time given
jacky :-)

Hi Jacky

You need the marriage cert to check for their ages.
These birth and death details might be worth hanging on to though just in case they fit with his age when you get it -

Broadbent Ernest Leeds 9b 539

Name: Ernest Broadbent
Birth Date: abt 1902
Date of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec 1968
