I have a James Sykes born in Halifax West yorkshire ,who married Mary Cooper in 1817.James was from the Elland ,Rastrick area of Halifax. However ,I have found 2 James from that area. One born in 1792 and one in 1790.Think I need to find out what age James was when he married Mary Cooper. They got married at St Johns in Halifax. |

Going by the marriage date that Lynski found and his birth year on the 1841...I make it 31 years old when he married. |

You have to remember that ages and places of birth can change from census to census - some just put the place they were living in as their place of birth and ages could be +/- 2-5 years? |
