	It was in Norman Street. If you google the name of the pub it will bring up several links to the area including one which has a photo of the pub. (Think it was Birmingham History Forum) Marion

	PH is an abbreviation for Public House. Nothing to do with the prison. Don´t think it´s there any more (the pub that is, not the prison!!!)

	Her name was MARION.....as per her marriage record, which is from freebmd, where you can easily check yourself BOTH forms of the name are feminine...........I have friends with both spellings

	I have to disagree, Elaine. I know many female Marions. I also have an Aunt Marion. Marian is often a short form for Mary Ann.
