Find Ancestors

I have found Thomas Aspden b.1859, A Stone Mason from Whalley, Lancashire married to Catherine b 1862 d 1947 born in Baschurch Shropshire. I want to find Thomas' Father and Mother. I looked on the 1841 and 1851 census but nothing came up for Thomas Aspden. I looked on the Free BMD but there were loads of Thomas Aspdens born in Blackburn, which Whalley would come under.Could anyone help me please, I would be very grateful.

Their marriage cert should name his father .if known.

His birth may not have been registered..........your best bet is to obtain his marriage cert

Not sure why you looked in 1841 and 1851.....Thomas would not be on a census before 1861
