With different accent's.......i bet it's a simple case of the enumerator mistaking "Ramsey" for "Romsey" which is in Hampshire!

On the 1897 joint baptisms that Andy posted for Emily Fanny and Ernest Charles, Thomas' occupation is given as Farrier and the home address was 104 Duncombe Road.

Hmmm....it's a bit confusing because in the 1901.... Susan "Susin" was born Romsey Hampshire.....and yet on the 1911 it state's born...Ramsey Huntingdonshire, which is in Cambridge i believe.

This census from 1871 fits with Susan Palmer. Same birth year/place as Susan Gough in 1901

The only certain way is one of the childrens birth certs.

A relative thought that Susans name could have been Palmer, but I have never found any evidence of this. So It could be Franklin :-S

I suppose the only way of being 100% sure is to buy one of the childrens birth certificates right? :-)

I'm not sure about the mother though .
