I seem to have a spate of second marriages which make the 1881 census have the wrong mother for my target.

Great. My Ann Husker in IGI is christened Knareborough 1833 with parents Robert and Jane and there is a brother Richard in 1830

Either the 1833 is a mistranscription or they had a later Hannah who isn't transcribed

So Barbara your death for Hannah Simpson, born 1834, seems to give a match if her age in the 1851 census is faulty?

My Great Great Grandfather was born in Castleford, but came to work on the Fitzwilliam estate in Wentworth. (Nr Rotherham) before 1841 census.

Well, I don't seem to be able to find Hannahs Baptism / Christening records sorry Frances.
