Terence as this thread is a couple of years old Mairwen may no longer be checking for replies. Click on his name and send a private message. If he still has the same email address GR will notify him.

In case anyone was wondering who reported Terence Henry's post of 18:18 - it was me.

Perhaps not having read the guidelines for board postings he had given too much personal information about the opening poster which revealed too much of their identity.

Hi Marsha

I think Harold Marsh was my Grandfather.

He lived in Norwich, was married to Gladys and had 3 daughters.

His mother, Elsie, lived in Edgware.

I have photos and more information if you are interested.

Regards

David

Marsha is no longer a member of GR and cannot be contacted through this site

David, following on from Erika’s comment - Genes don’t remove threads or trees from this site when you finish a sub. It is something you have to do yourself before leaving.

Just to clarify Nameslessone's post above -

You can remove your posts or threads when leaving GR, if you want to, but you don't have to.

In fact it's good to leave them in case anyone else happens to be looking for the same people in future - as you have discovered.

Thank you Erika. I saw this was an old thread but thought I would leave something here in the hope that Marsha might return here one day. My mother would like to meet her half sister. Unfortunately there was no further information here to help me trace Marsha.

Kay????

All isnt lost should David wish to persue another route at Ancestry where Marsha has family details listed and can be contacted via that site to a still acive member ....based in Australia.!

Membership will be needed to allow sending messages.

Thank you Kay. That is good news. Do you know how I find her on there? I only know here first name...forgive my ignorance.

Look for the name in which she has expressed an interest and you'll find her tree
