sorry I cant help but i dont understand what you have written!!

So - someone thinks you have a link. You can't work it out from what they have told you. Is that right?
I think the best thing is to ask them to clarify, not sure how we can help!

Can't you just reply to the person and ask them what/or who they think is the connection between your trees?

The person's husband's sister is Jessica Margaret Anne Rice.
Jessica married first Mr Hayes-Richards, and then Mr Squires.
Possibly.

One of Isaac Field's daughters or sons married into the Squires family.

i have isaac field in my tree he is my grate grand father i new him very well

i ask the other person to how are we connetied and this is what thay sent me

Isaac is not the Father-in-law of James.

this is why i could not work it out as i no isaac children did not marriey a Squires

Sorry, one of Isaac's children married a 'cousin' of James Squires. So depending whether the cousin was on James's Mother's or Father's side there could be several different surnames involved.
Not a particularly close connection.
Could you try asking which of Isaac's children married which 'cousin'?
Did you approach them, or they to you?

if it is a cousin then i dont think i need to bother finding
the line in my tree as it will then branch out to much at the sides

shame as a now a grate dill about some of the field side and have lots of photos
