Firstly, I asked these questions on behalf of an old friend who is now living abroad, I also knew Ivy when were neighbours, then she was married to
George Hughes, as her first husband had passed away in 1931

By the way, I should add that there's a very well documented tree on anc*ry with photos of them all.

All of a sudden Agnes is from Hertfordshire !

So, perhaps it's Ivy's MOTHER that was born there, not her. Father Josiah would be Joseph on her marriage record and the witness Ellen would be her sister shown here.

If you were looking for Ivy F. I don't understand why you settled on a different Florence.

Tom, do you know when Ivy died? Also what was her married name?

We could then try to find her death which might have a birth date so that we could then tie this in with the birth date given on the baptismal record that I've given above

but the family are sure that the birth was in warwickshire

I am trying to confirm the birth place of Ivy Florence Glenn, born circa 1904

Her mother was agnes Glenn nee Pinnegar
Father was Henry (Harry Glenn)
I have been given to understand that Ivy was born Warks,
but I have seen a birth for Ivy F in Hanwell, London in 1905, to Harry and Amelia Glen

I would be grateful any help however small
