To all in this thread. I hope I am replying in the correct manner . Apologies if I am not. Thanks for all the responses.There is a lot here to digest. All I had was a name Leo Mussi otherwise known as Leo Massey. Date of birth a guess. I have ordered the Marr Cert for 1942 to Margaret Hollins as a start.

I have googled the name and came up with a tenor singer with the Cafe Colette orchestra led by Walford Hyden. The cafe itself was a mythical cafe on the radio in the 1930's but the orchestra toured the country.

I will now read in detail the above and will await any other help. Thanks

Hi All,

Have received the marr cert for Alexander Leo Mussi and Margaret Hollins. His name is also given as "otherwise Leo Massey" age 42. Occupation variety artist which fits in with the person I am looking for. Cert also shows that the two names I was given are the same person. Have now ordered some more certs as he had a son Leo Maxwell Mussi born 1933. He was also sometimes called Massey. I believe I have found some living descendents on Facebook. I am awaiting a response. Will keep you posted.
